If you are on a low income, your eligibility will be determined by your property characteristics. An algorithm is used based on the type, age and floor area of your home.
Data is used from the VOA (Valuation Office Agency) where available. In the event that this data is missing, data from neighbouring properties can be used.

The warm home discount payment of £150 is paid to anyone on the Guaranteed Credit element of Pension Credit, or people on a low income who live in properties which cost a lot of money to heat.
If you receive the Guaranteed Credit element of Pension Credit, you’ll automatically qualify for the discount.
The one off payment of £150 will be made between November 2022 and March 2023.
If you pay by Direct Debit, you’ll receive the payment as credit on your bill.
