You can use this service to order documents that are recorded in the HM Land Registry system.
This service allows you to access documents instantly in most cases, or within 24 hours at most. Alternatively, you can use form OC2 to request the documents directly from HM Land Registry.
Ordering the documents directly from HM Land Registry is the cheapest way to get these documents, however it may take longer for you to receive them when using form OC2.
Our service includes an extra service in addition to the Land Registry fees, but allows you to access the documents instantly in nearly all cases.
A lease document outlines the terms of an agreement between the freeholder (landlord) and the leaseholder (tenant). This document usually includes details of both parties and the property, the term of the lease (how many years before the lease runs out), ground rent and details of any restrictions.

A transfer document records a transfer in ownership from one party to another. A transfer is recorded using form TR1 and includes details of buyer, seller and nature of the transfer.
A charge document records a legal interest in a property. For example, this could record a mortgage companies interest or details of a secure loan. The charge document gives the lender rights over the property in certain circumstances, for example, when it is sold.
Documents purchased from HM Land Registry are charged based on the HM Land Registry fees.
The current fees for requesting documents by post using form OC2 are £11 per document.

When you enter the address of your property on our website, we attempt to automatically locate the title number from the HM Land Registry records. Sometimes we may be unable to automatically find a match and you may see an error message that no documents are available.
If you believe this is an error, please contact us with the property address and we will attempt to locate the title number manually.
